St. Edmundsbury Lawn Bowls Club take part in both the Suffolk County League and the Bury & District League
Leagues
We teams in the Monday afternoon Bury & District league, the Tuesday evening Area D County league and the Thursday evening 2 bowl triples Bury & District league. ​​
Bury & District
Monday afternoon games are two rinks of triples, three bowls.
Both teams play either at home or away and the scores are added with points for an overall win as well as points for the individual rink wins.
Thursday evening is 2 bowl triples. Four rinks will all play 21 ends either home or away.
Outside Competition
Opportunities exist to enter the Bury and District and the County competitions and our club is well represented in both.

Several team friendly matches are scheduled through the season which make for social as well as competitive play.

Singles, doubles, triples all catered for and all members are encouraged to enter.

For new comers there is a Novice cup.

Coaching Sessions
Our club members will help you get started and experienced coaches can offer one-on-one and group coaching sessions to help you improve your skills on the green.
Equipment Loan
We have bowls to borrow of all sizes, including Junior sets, for those who don't have their own lawn bowls. Our equipment is well-maintained and suitable for all skill levels.
Tournaments
We host various tournaments throughout the year for players of all skill levels. Join us to compete and meet new people.
Social Events
We organize social events for our members to get to know each other and have fun off the green. Quiz nights are a favourite and our licenced club bar is great value!
League Play
St Eds participate in several leagues for those who want to compete regularly with other members. All members are supported to participate.
Private Events
We offer private events for groups who want to play lawn bowls together.
