Welcome to St. Edmundsbury Lawn Bowls Club
St. Edmundsbury Lawn Bowls Club is a friendly, well established and social bowls club located in the heart of Bury St. Edmunds. We welcome beginners and experienced players alike to join us in our passion for lawn bowls.
Look out for an Open Day (next date 27th April) , contact us or just drop into the club. Club practice sessions are a good time when you are sure to find a friendly face.
If you are a beginner we have bowls for you to use until you decide to purchase your own set. Your first trial session will be free and you can attend several times before deciding to join the club. Club practice sessions, (otherwise known as a roll up) are currently on a Wednesday evening and a good time to get some basic tuition, guidance, get to know some other members and play a fun game.
Experienced bowlers are also welcome on a Wednesday evening when club competitions will be available in addition to a general roll up.
Junior sessions are planned for early evening on a Wednesday with the club recently obtaining a grant for several sets of Junior Bowls. Accompanying adults can play along side for free.
